Kiki Loves Candy

now that we’re back up and running for nearly a week, i came to the conclusion that although everything is running well and traffic increases on a day-by-day basis, i still have no idea what kiki and i are actually doing here. it’s porn, but it definitely is not one of that sleazy porn sites you find out there in the internet. sure, there’s kiki, and she’s naked (and damn! is she good at it), but without praising our own site too much, we’re quite a bit different.

let’s take a look at some adult blog directories to prove what i just said:

browsing through this sites made me realize: we’re not amateur porn. we’re not teen porn. we’re not “a bit of everything”, and although kiki’s a real babe, we hardly fit into the “babe” category. going even further, i accuse these “blogs” of being pure spam. there’s nothing interesting to read – sure, there is porn, and i could probably get off to it, but i always thought that blogs are about people, about life, about stories, something to satisfy my voyeurism.

so here i am, wondering what “category” we fit in, for a very practical reason: to get more visitors than we currently have, we need to get traffic from other sites where we advertise ourselves. on one hand, people visiting such directories would be disappointed by seeing “just” a few pics, not whole galleries full of hardcore porn. on the other hand, our blog is a total overkill. our exhibitionism is far more than simple porn… you, the visitors, will at least sort of know us – you know that we love each other, wrestling and tasty muffins.

i’d be sitting here clueless, if it wasn’t for a special blog i found in an adult newsletter i received 3 days ago: steph, the sexy geek girl we already feature in our blogroll, seems to have (had) the same problem. in an interesting article she writes about the phenomenon of “porn with personality”. so here we go, i think i found the category we fit in, just that this one isn’t featured yet at any of the directories i visited (and there were lots of them!).

go, pay stephanie a visit as she is “proud to be promoting — porn with personality!”, and so are we.
